About

Glasgow Eyes Magazine – The City’s Greatest Storyteller

First launched in 2013 by Glasgow photojournalist Brian Anderson, Glasgow Eyes Magazine quickly carved out its place as the city’s boldest voice. Over the years, the magazine has appeared in glossy print on and off, capturing the raw heartbeat of Glasgow life. Now, it returns bigger than ever – relaunched as a glossy, collectable magazine, available by download and subscription.

Described as Life Magazine meets culture and true crime for the city, Glasgow Eyes blends striking photography, hard-hitting stories, and a celebration of the people who shape Glasgow. Cultural icons including Irvine Welsh, Pete Doherty, and Alan McGee have all called it “Glasgow’s greatest magazine.”

This year alone, our social media has reached millions of views, building a loyal following and giving a platform to local voices. Beyond journalism, Glasgow Eyes supports local businesses and our partner Gallus Collective, which produces high-quality photo art prints, gifts, hoodies, hats, and tees – all inspired by the city’s pure gallus spirit.

Glasgow Eyes isn’t just a magazine. It’s a movement, a community, and a celebration of Glasgow in all its grit, style, and creativity.

Fans of the magazine over the years are Billy Connloly, Gerry Cinnamon, Gary Numan, Bay City Rollers, Ali Campbell UB40, and the Who's Roger Daltrey.

The magazine is owned and editted by Katelyn Anderson
